The disposable camera app for weddings
One shared roll for the whole wedding, shot on your guests’ own phones. A QR code on every table gets them in without an app or an account; each guest gets a limited roll in the film stock you chose; nobody sees a frame until the reveal; and the next morning the whole day develops at once, into one album, with nothing to collect, send off or wait for.

Why couples swap the disposable cameras for this
The table disposable is a lovely idea with a bad ending. Thirty plastic cameras cost more than most guest tiers, half of them come back with the roll unfinished, the flash fires into a mirror, and the lab takes two weeks to hand you a stack of frames you cannot tell apart until they are scanned. The photos that mattered are on someone’s phone, uncollected.
MokoRoll keeps the part people love, a limited roll and no peeking, and moves it to the camera every guest already has in their pocket. A guest who has used up their 36 shots has used them up, so they pick their moments. The film stock gives every frame the same look, so a hundred phones shoot one roll. And because nobody sees anything until you say so, the night stays a night out, not a feed.
How it works on the day
You create the film in a minute, on the web or in the iPhone app: the names, the date, how many guests, how many shots each, and when the roll develops. The film gives you a QR code and a link. Print the code on the table cards or the program, put it on the screen by the bar, or send the link in the group chat.
A guest points their camera at the code, types a name and an email address, and is shooting in their browser. The viewfinder shows the stock live and the counter shows the shots they have left. Set the reveal to “End of the night” and the roll develops at 11 PM, after the first dance and the speeches; set it to the next morning and your guests wake up to the whole wedding through everyone else’s eyes. Everyone in the film can download any photo, or the whole album as one zip.
Film stocks made for a wedding
Every photo in the film develops in the one stock you choose, from 28 hand-tuned looks built as real colour LUTs, with the ungraded original of every shot kept. These are the ones that get picked for weddings.
- Portrait 400The wedding classic. Creamy skin tones and forgiving, honeyed light. For the ceremony and the portraits, in daylight.
- Portrait 800Warm, creamy color made for candlelight and dim rooms. For candlelit dinners and dim halls.
- Sunlit 200Sun-soaked nostalgia. The warmth of an old family album. For a garden or beach wedding in full sun.
- Cine 500 TungstenA tungsten-balanced night stock. Moody and wide open. For the dance floor after dark.
- Reportage 400The photojournalist's black & white. Forgiving, gutsy, alive. For a whole wedding in black and white.
Or Original: no grade, exactly what the lens saw.
What a wedding costs on MokoRoll
A film for up to 5 guests is free: 36 photos per guest, every film stock, the reveal and the downloads, with no card to enter. A wedding buys a one-time guest tier in the iPhone app: $15.99 for 50 guests, $29.99 for 100 guests, up to $99.99 for an unlimited guest list; the first paid tier is $1.99 for 10. Unlimited photos for every guest is a flat $9.99. Nothing recurs, guests never pay, and the host is not counted as a guest.
Wedding questions
Do wedding guests need to download MokoRoll?
No. A guest scans the QR code on their table or opens the link, enters a name and an email address, and the camera opens in their phone's browser. There is no app to install and no account to create. Guests who already have the iPhone app can use that instead.
How many photos does each wedding guest get?
Up to 36 each, the length of a real roll, and you can set a shorter roll when you create the film. With the "Unlimited photos per guest" add-on in the iPhone app ($9.99, one time) the cap is lifted for every guest.
When do we get to see the wedding photos?
Whenever you choose when you create the film. "End of the night" develops the whole roll at 11 PM on the wedding day; "Pick a date" develops it at 11 AM on a morning you pick, the day after if you like; "Right away" shows photos as they are taken. Until then each guest sees only their own shots.
Can we download all of the photos?
Yes. After the reveal, you and every guest can download a single photo or save the whole album as one zip file, at the resolution the phone shot it, with the film stock baked in. The ungraded originals are kept too.
What if more guests show up than we planned for?
A film starts on the free tier, which admits 5 guests. If more people join, the host moves the film to a bigger tier from the iPhone app, in the middle of the reception if need be, and the guests already in the film stay in it. You, the host, do not count against the limit.
Who can see our wedding photos?
Only the people in the film, and only after the reveal. Photos are stored in a private bucket and served through signed links that expire after an hour, issued only to the film's members. MokoRoll has no advertising and no cross-app tracking, never sells personal data, and does not use photos to train machine-learning models.
